In his first BPL start, Ben Gottesman went 4 scoreless innings to pick up the win. Bobby Tramondozzi came in relief to throw 3 innings without allowing a base runner while collecting 5 strikeouts to earn a well deserved save. In the top of the fourth, the Braves loaded the bases, with no out and failed to capitalize. In the bottom half of the inning, Danny Brown hit a two out single, Ryan McCormick, Mike Davis and Ryan Leung all followed suit with two out singles of their own. Nick Herzog capped off the scoring with a two run double to give ADSL a 3-0 lead. Defensively, 2018 Boston Park League Johnny MacDonald Memorial Defensive Player of the Year, Eddie Riley, made some key plays to hold the Braves off the scoreboard in a few stressful situations.
