SAUGUS -- In game two, the Mariners gave the starting nod to Scott Haley, fresh off catching game one and still feeling the effects of the open-bar wedding he attended the night before. Despite wreaking of Bacardi Apple and vomit, Haley tuned in a quality first career start. The Senators appeared to be in good shape, up two, heading to the 6th. However, like a script made for Hollywood, a Father's Day miracle took place. The Mariner's dad, Tyler Higgins, has no publicly known biological children, but has assumed the role as the M's dad because of his natural dad bod, warm thoughtful advice, & ferocious temper. In the top of the 6th, down 2-0, Higgins crushed a titanic 3-run bomb to put the M's on top for good - a magical way to commemorate a special holiday. Jake Mingels, pitching with a hand that's still completely mangled kid, secured the win, going 2+ innings of relief, and working out of multiple jams. The Mariners are now 7-3.
