ADSL overcame a shaky defensive start with a strong pitching effort by Brad Marchetti. He earned the complete game win, allowing just one earned run, scattering five hits and striking out eight batters. Eddie Riley provided two RBI for ADSL with the game winner, a base hit in the top of the 5th to break up the 2-2 tie and give ADSL the lead for good. The Padres loaded the bases in the last inning but Marchetti got the ground out to end the game.
