Mike Morgan drove in the winning run with a line drive single that scored Ross Curley to give Lexington a 4-3 win. Dan Capra's two-run double in the second gave the Blue Sox a 3-1 lead. Jeff Bercume tied it for the Chiefs with a two-run double in the fourth. Matt Karis, 5-1, pitched a complete game for Lexington with seven strikeouts. Tim Dunphy took the loss for the Chiefs, also pitching a complete. He walked none and struck out one.
