Facing elimination, the Cutters battled to pick up the win. After going down 2-0, John Pollard's 2-RBI double and Eric Bosworth's Sac fly gave the Cutters a 3-2 lead in the 3rd. The White Sox bounced back to make it 5-3 before the Cutters tied it up in the 4th highlighted by a Neil Hova triple. Tied at 5 in the 5th, Bosworth and Andrew Gold got on base with a few singles to set the table. With two outs, Jeff Coveney was down to 2 strikes with 2nd and 3rd before knocking a 2-run single to right center to give the Cutters a 7-5 lead. Ben Clarkson picked up the win while Bosworth earned the save with 3 innings of relief.
