The Towne veterans overcame nagging injuries and old age-related fatigue to topple Cannon on Thursday night. After a Venditti 3 run home run in the 3rd, Cannon felt compelled to issue him an intentional walk in his next at-bat, loading the bases. Grant Bowen, feeling disrespected, responded by launching a moonshot grand slam over the left field fence. Jim Perron, fresh off of a workout at Planet Fitness, came through with 3 hits and an RBI for Towne. Mike Stefaniak dealt through 6 strong innings, allowing 4 runs while striking out 9. Joe Dwyer delivered the big hit for Cannon, a 2 run double in the 4th. Panozzi and desai also had big hits for Cannon which happened to leave the park too.
