Towne Club explodes offensively en route to its eighth straight win. Steve Picco and Jim Perron overcome debilitating knee injuries to help Towne score 6 runs in the first inning (Picco contributed a grand slam). James Patti lined two doubles and added two RBIs, and player-coach Grant Bowen had two hits of his own. Bowdoin seniors Connor Rooney and Ryan Dixon stymied the Palmer bats through seven strong innings of efficient pitching. Veteran slugger JP Songin ripped three hits for Palmer in a losing effort Towne finishes the week with games against TJO Sports (7/6) and ADSL (7/7), with a chance to edge closer to first place.
