Spinners come back from an early 4-0 deficit to beat a struggling Blue Jays team. The Jays scored 4 runs in the 3rd behind the hitting of the top 4 hitters. Rudy led the team with 3 hits, 1 RBI; while Bere and Thomas had 2 hits a piece. Buika added 2 more runs, doubling to left field. Lippi started the 4th making his pitching debut for the Spinners tossing 2 scoreless. Spinners answered back in the 4th plating 4 runs of their own. After 2 scoreless innings the Jays loaded the bases with 1 out. Enter the rookie pitcher, S.Mattina, who's been thrown into tough situations all year. A bloop single would score the go ahead run for the Jays but then Mattina got a perfect 1-2-3 dp. Down by a run, with runners on 2nd, 3rd, the vet M.
