Great comeback win for Cannon in 8. Padres jumped out early with 3 runs on triples by Soto and Zapata, and singles then by Sanjurno and Pena. Hueston shut the door after that registering 11 k's in the complete game victory. Arias pitched well for Padres, but Cannon chipped away with runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th to tie it up. Soto came on in the 7th and kept Cannon from getting the run with bases loaded. Padres threatened in the 8th with hits by Santos and Spagnolo, but Hueston k'd the last 2 to leave them stranded. Colon got the bottom going with a single, advancing to second on Knott's single. McCue (2 hits)walked to draw the bases loaded. With one out, Davis hits a fly to a drawn in outfield where Colon tags and just beats the throw from centerfield. Clemente had 2 key hits for Cannon as well.
