With two outs in the bottom of the 7th and trailing by a run, Brandon Welch hits a walk-off double scoring two as Grossman defeats Towne Club 4-3. Andrew Tenaglia had hit a long triple in the first scoring Salvucci and Franz Strassmann knocked in Tenaglia in the 4th to account for the only two Grossman runs up until that point. Meanwhile Scott Hampe, in his first start of the 2015 season, pitched splendidly allowing only two runs through six, his only mistake was a 2 RBI double by Zack Roberson. In the top of the 7th, Chris Hoyt led off with a double and scored as Grossman was unable to convert the double play. Mike Stefaniak pitched well for Towne Club allowing only four hits and two runs through six innings while striking out nine.
