Steve Tahmoush had three hits to drive in three American runs and Keith Pescosolido hurled five innings of five hit, six strike out, two run ball in his first ICL start to earn the victory as the Americans dispatched the Chiefs by the score of 6-2 at Playstead Park. Pescosolido walked the first two batters he faced in the bottom of the first and both scored. He then settled down and threw four shutout innings before being replaced by Nolan Boike, who pitched a scoreless sixth. Ryan Maguire closed the game with a perfect seventh inning of work. Tahmoush's three hits led the way for Medford. Mike Burgoyne, Johnny Welch and Steve Napier each added two hits to the American cause.
