The Braves struck first when Chris St. Amand singled and came around to score on Steve Barry's RBI single in the first. The Warriors would get three runs in the fourth on three singles and a pair of Braves errors, with the last run coming in on Brian Gaudet's single. Some sparkling defense would hold the Warriors at bay and allow the Braves to score one in the sixth and two in the top of the ninth to seal the win. Steve Hare (CG, 3 R, ER, 8 H, 4K, 3 BB) got his fourth win of the season, while Jim Pigott (8 IP, 4 R, 4 ER, 8 H, 4 K, 4 BB) took the loss for Cambridge.
