Sun, 29 April, 11:00AM, at Waltham - Nipper
Waltham Red Sox 12, Wayland White Sox 4
Waltham seemed to like the number 3, as they scored 3 times in an inning, at four different times. Wayland got the bats going later in the game, scoring in 3 of the final 4 innings.
With the key addition of baseball shaped on-deck circles, (provided by Gary Vallerand) and several new player additions, Waltham jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first and never looked back.
Mark Fitzy ate his wheaties (or Lucky Charms) giving the Sox a quality outing. Derrick Gauvin led the pack going 2-2 with a double, 2 steals, 2 runs and 3 RBI, Dan Pill added 2 doubles to left-center that were FROZEN ROPES! Chris Deane, went 2-3 with a walk, steal, 2 runs and 1 RBI.
**Other key notes were the Pats trading for Moss. |
