Cambridge rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh in a dramatic 3-2 come from behind win. The Spinners loaded the bases off A’s reliever Dave Pirman and Alex Benson drove in the winning three runs on a double to centerfield. JM Doerr won the game in relief, allowing just one hit over two innings. Jason Kurtz pitched a strong game for Waltham, allowing just three hits. Matt Cote and Jason Tessari had two hits apiece for the A’s.
