A's TOP GRAYS 5-4 Dave Clarke tripled home Bo McIntyre to score the first run of the contest. In the 3rd, Andrew Billig was singled home by Alan Donaruma, who eventually scored on a McIntyre sac fly. The A's tacked on one more in the 4th on a throwing error. 4-0 A's. The Grays struck. Haley Chandler singled and later scored from 3rd on a failed pick-off attempt. Anthony Montane ultimately scored on a single by his brother Morgan. In the 5th, the Grays plated Dan Field on a Ryan Eckenrode triple. In the 6th, the Grays loaded the bases, and were able to push a run across on an error. But the A's escaped with only giving up one run. A 6-2 putout recorded out 1. And a 6-4-3 double play brought the A's back into the dugout. In the 7th, the A's Pat Vetter advanced Dave Clarke to 3rd. Clarke then scored on a Jordan Krall groundout, giving them the winning run.
