A's TOP WHITE SOX LIGHTS GO OUT IN SIXTH The White Sox put two on the board early in this game. And hard-throwing _________ dominated in the early going--at one point striking out eight A's in a row. But the A's took advantage of some timely hitting and some Sox miscues to take the lead in the fifth. With the bases loaded, Andrew Billig ripped one through the 5-6 hole, and three A's came around to touch the plate. Jason Kurtz kept the A's in the game with a gutty performance. He allowed just two runs and struck out eight. The A's picked up some insurance in the sixth with an RBI single from Brian Colella. And with 2 outs in the bottom of the sixth, the lights went out at Ryan.
