After taking advantage of a Mets miscue to take the top half of the DH, the White Sox returned the favor by misplaying what would have been the final out of the game to let the Mets tie the game at 4-4 in the seventh. The difference was tough pitching by Rocky Pisa, who went the distance for the Mets, and a big ninth inning with back-to-back 2-rbi doubles by Faessler and Sabino.
