Deciding a 4-0 deficit wasn't big enough, the Pirates found themselves in an even bigger hole on Thursday night as they fell behind the Fightin' Irish of Milton 5-0 in the early going at Barnes in Dedham. This time, the Pirates plated 7 unanswered in the middle innings to take another come-from-behind victory, 7-5. Nate Fishman got the start on the mound, surviving a nightmare 2nd inning to settle down for the win, before Jon Shikora came in to close things down in the final innings to pick up his 2nd career save. Fishman helped himself out on the mound, going 3 for 4 with 3 steals and an RBI, taking home the coveted chest. Todd Elkin had the big blow, breaking out of a slump to hit the go-ahead 2-run double.
