It wasn't the prettiest baseball game anyone's ever seen, but the Marlins/Bombers overcame some tough early season Lawrence field conditions and battled out an extra inning affair at Shawsheen Park Monday night. Marlins took the early lead 5-2 and proceeded to hold that until the 6th where the Bombers came roaring back to tie it at 5 and eventually force extras. In the top of the 8th, Marlins scored on a fielder's choice to take the lead at 6-5 and Derek MacDowell shut Bistany down in the bottom of the inning to for his first NSBL win as well as the Marlins first of 2015.
