This one was tight through three innings, as the A's scored two in the first only to see the Rangers plate one in the second and two in the third to take a 3-2 lead. In the top of the third, the A's sent eleven men to the plate before recording an out, plating ten in the inning on eight hits. Offensively, Jamal Saleh led the way with three hits and three RBI, while Billig, Lamoureux, Misiph, and Sheehan all had multiple-hit games. Kevin McGowan held the Rangers to two ER over six innings for the win. For the Rangers, Paul Bracco and Chris Caprio had two hits apiece.
