The White Sox bats emerged from a long hibernation to smack 10 hits and score 7 runs en route to a 7-4 victory against the reigning champs, the Cutters. Anthony Tomaro pitched 5 gritty innings to earn the win. Tomaro tired in the top of the 6th walking Mike Moloney to start the inning. Matt LoPresti came on in his first relief performance of the year, pitching 2 scoreless innings to earn the save. For the Sox, Tomaro had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, Pollak reached base 4 times scoring 2, Linn was 2-3 with an RBI and 2 SB, Byrne had a triple and 2 RBI, Clemente had a 2-run single and 4 SB, Naumowicz drove in 2, and Lembo added 2 hits to pace the offense.
