Phil Carignan puts the Grays on his back and carries them to the 2nd round. Carignan did it with the bat and his arm as he spun a CG shutout allowing only 4 hits with 5 strikeouts. Carignan helped at the dish as well driving in 2 of the Gray's 3 runs. Zac Stiffler roped an RBI double in the 6th to put the game officially out of reach. That said, the offense was led by Danny Concessi. Concessi, fresh off a 2 week African safari, didn't miss a beat as he went 3-3 with a double and scored all 3 Grays runs.
