In a back and forth battle, the Spinners came out on top with a 5-4 win. Tied 4-4 in the fifth, Colin Sullivan homered off Ian Sales to put Cambridge in the lead for good. Luc Kocher came on in relief of Spinners starter Dam Blum and got the win, holding Bay State off the board in two innings of work. Matt Lessard came on in the seventh for the save. Chris Holland and Dan Brookfield led the Pirates offense with two hits apiece.
