The Rangers posted their 2nd April win with a walk-off victory against the Cutters. With one out in the bottom of the 8th, Davin Wilfrid (3-4) tripled to deep left centerfield. The Cutters intentionally walked the next two Ranger batters. Then, rookie Tim Brady singled home the winning run. Neil Doherty pitched six solid innings for the Rangers, followed by two strong innings of relief by Shane Steffens (2-0). Chris Plant and Al Becker highlighted the Ranger defense with some great plays in the field. A.J. Bucciarelli (3-3, sac bunt) and Matt Ells (2-2, BB) were perfect at the plate for the Cutters.
