Great game! Pitcher's duel between the Thunder's Paul Laurin and the Orioles Dan O'Driscoll, both pitchers with complete games. The Thunder got to Wellesley right away with 2 in the first, on a single by Brian Chen, Triple by Frank Marr into the right field corner at cavernous NAMS, and a single by Paul Laurin. Wellesley got their only run in the top of the 4th on a single by David Norman, who stole second and scored on a double by John Biscotti. The Thunder picked up an insurance run in the home 8th. Chuck April singled, a sacrifice drag bunt by Dave Brown that O'Driscoll couldn't come up with put runners on 1st and 2nd, a sac bunt by Gregg Bromley put the runners to 2nd & 3rd.
