After 3 scoreless innings Paul D'Agostino lead of with a single to left and Messom came to the plate and lasered a 2-run homer to the right center gap to give the Cardinals the lead. Good defense and hitting by the Cardinals set it up in the seventh where Messom finished the Hurricanes off by striking out the side. Greg Curtis capped the offense off by lacing a 2-run triple down the left field line, Curtis finished the season with a hit in every game played (16).
