For the second game in a row, the White Sox scored double-digit runs, as this time they took the Astros for their 4th straight win. John Howe pitched a strong 6 innings for the Sox, allowing only 3 scattered hits and 1 ER with 8 K's for the win. Mike Lembo pitched a perfect 7th inning to wrap up the game. The Astros struck first in the 2nd inning when Mike Vernon reached on error, stole second, and scored on another error. But the Sox quickly came back and scored 5 in the bottom of the frame with the help of 3 errors and singles by Dan Field, Brett Rudy, Eamonn McDonough and Mike Lembo. From that point forward, there was no looking back. On the day, Brett Rudy (2 for 2, sac fly, 3 RBI) & Eamonn McDonough (2 for 2, 1 BB, 2 R) had perfect days at the plate. Mike Lembo also had a pair of hits with 2 RBI. The other Astros run came when Dan Schumaker blasted a triple in the 3rd and was driven in by a Shu Susaki single.
