Three D-back pitchers combined to shut-out the Athletics today. Starter Chris Buckley held the A's to one hit while stiking out eight with no walks in five innings work. Aaron Bend and Greg O'keefe combined to close out the game. Nick Reiser had a key double down the right field line to drive in two runs for the D-backs in the second. Rich Antash and Jeremy Broadwell also collected hits for the D-backs. Robert Sherman was the tough luck loser for the A's going the distance only allowing one earned run while striking out nine batters.
