PJ Gouthro earned his league leading 5th victory of the season in a pitchers duel at Kelly Field Monday night, tossing his 3rd complete game of the season while scattering 5 hits and striking out 1. Tough luck loser Sam Miller threw 4 and 1/3 hit-less innings before Brian Medairos smacked a clean RBI single to right in the 5th to get Palmer on the board. Palmer carried that momentum over to the 6th inning when 3rd baseman Matt Lipsett laced a clutch 2 out, 2 RBI single that plated the game winning run.
