The Grays beat the Orioles this sunny Sunday in Acton, Massachusetts. By doing so, they clinched the Bay State Division title along with the best record in the MABL. Steve Baldassari delivered a gutsy performance for the Grays pitching a CG and scattering 7 hits across 7 innings. The Orioles' Milciades Santana continued his dominance of the MABL with his high 80's, low 90mph fastballs striking out 10 in 5 2/3 innings of relief but the Grays bats had already done their damage prior to Santana entering the game scoring 8 runs in the first two innings. Those eight runs would be all the Grays would need. Mike Gulinello continued his stellar hitting going 2-4 3 RBI, R, SB and was the standout bat of the game for the Grays.
