Newly selected White Sox All-Stars (Jon Mead, Mike McInnis, Mike Lembo and Al Wiesner) picked up 10 of the team's 14 hits as the White Sox went on to beat the Giants. With the bases loaded in the 1st inning and 2 out, Aarron Hutchins came up big with a 2 RBI single to start things off. Mike Lembo then doubled. From there the Sox did not look back. Of note, in the second inning, both Mike McInnis and Jon Mead stole home as runners coming in from third base as the back end of double-steals.
