Lexington scored five runs in the sixth to break open a 2-2 tie and beat Testa 7-2. The first seven Sox hitters reached base in the sixth on two doubles, three walks, a hit batter and a fielders choice which along with two errors gave the Sox their five runs. Steve Gath drove in two runs and Mike Morgan had an RBI double to lead the offense. Curt Everett, 1-1, picked up the win in relief. Lemarre Rey had four hits for Testa, including an RBI single in the fifth. Devin Perry and Josh Klimkiewicz each had two hits and scored for the Bombers.
