The rubber match between the Mariners and Rangers proved to be a doozy. With the 2 prior games between the teams played very tightly, it was with little surprise that the M's found themselves within 1 run heading into the final frame. The M's Jamie Aldoupolis tied the score with a sacrifice fly to right that was dropped by the right fielder. Two batters later, the bases were loaded thanks to a single and an error. Michael Parker came to the plate with 1 out and hit a walk-off grand slam to left. The M's offense came alive late to lead the team to victory. Parker had 2 hits and 5 RBI, while Jamie Aldoupolis (3 RBI) and Chris Corde each hit doubles. Wade Briggs pitched well, surrendering 3 hits and picking up the complete game victory.
