In a hard fought game by both teams, the Grays were able to pull a nail-biter of a victory out from the White Sox. The Grays pulled out to an early lead in 2nd scoring 3 runs which were spearheaded by a triple by Paul Branche. After a triple by Tad Beagley in the bottom of the 3rd, Mike Gulinnello was able to score the 4th, and eventual deciding run, on a sacrifice fly.

The always potent White Sox offense began to fight back in the top of the 4th off of hits by Jonathan Numowicz and Michael Pollack. In the top of the 5th, Felix Villalobos was able to drive in another run to bring the White Sox within one.

In the top of the 7th, with two outs, Mike McLaughlin was able to get on with a single, and pinch runner Brett Deware was able to steal second.
