At the plate the A's struck early, scoring in the 1st and third, then again in the 6th to add some security. |

Jon Shephard pitched well through 6th only allowing 1 run on the night and picking up the win to improve to 1-0 in the post-season. Pat shore came in the 7th to close it out. |

The A's get it done with the bats, providing plenty of run support for Kevin Sinatra to get the win, his first of the season. Sinatra was effective and efficient through 4. Ollie Collette, Declan Driscoll, and Pat shore each pitched an inning to close out the game. Of note was Chris DeGiacomo's 3-run homer off the concrete bleachers to blow the game wide open. |

The A's had Alex Wong on the bump, who went 5 and held the formidable Padres offense to 4 runs. Matt Kerin came in to pitch the 6th and retired the side. The A's were playing catch up all night at the dish, but finally took the lead in the top of the 7th on a pinch hit 2-rbi triple by Ryan McGeown-Conron. Pat Shore came in to slam the door and lock up the win with a 1-2-3 innings. |
