The Cambridge Spinners clinched a playoff spot with a 6-0 shutout of the North Shore Snappers. Luc Kocher had two hits and drove in two runs to lead the offense and Colin Sullivan singled and drove in two runs of his own.
Pat Donahoe picked up the win, giving up just two hits while striking out six. Pat Clapp kept the Snappers off the board the rest of the way. |

After a lackluster effort against the Spinners handed the Sox their first loss of the season the Sox get back in the win column with a tough 6-5 win over the Snappers. Eric Rodriguez lined a 2-2 pitch into centerfield to score Marcos Reyes from second base in the bottom of the 7th for the Sox second walk off in three games. The Sox battled back from an early 4-0 deficit to take a 5-4 lead only to have BJ Neil score the tying run on a long triple and throwing error on an 0-2 count with one out in the top of the 7th.
Four pitchers took the mound for the Sox, with Donnell Hightower and Juan Carlos Ulloa delivering 2 innings each of no hit ball with 4 total strikeouts.
Reyes continued his hot start to the year going 3-4 with two runs and an RBI while MABL batting leader Jake Perkins added a 2-4 day with an RBI.
Joe Perna went the distance for the Snappers in a losing effort, consistently pitching out of jams and limiting big inning |

Grays win by mercy after 5 innings. Tom Plumitallo threw all 5 giving up 1 hit, striking out 4.
Bret Samboy led the offense with 4 RBI, including a towering 3-run HR. Dave Clarke and Jon Savas each scored twice while Matt Ferro reached base safely in all 3 of his at bats.
The Grays have a week off and are back in action next Saturday against the A's. |

On a hot Sunday morning at Newton South High School, the Dodgers topped the Snappers by mercy rule after six innings. The Dodgers forsook the option to call the game at a forfeit, after the Snappers arrived with only seven players. After a delayed start, the Snappers added an eighth player for the bottom of the first and the game proceeded with both sides agreeing to make it an official contest. The Dodgers racked up six consecutive hits and five runs in the second inning then added four more runs in the third. The Dodgers lineup would ultimately plate 13 runs en route to the decisive victory over the Snappers. Jeff Hall picked up his third win of the season for the Dodgers with support from Peppin, Lynahping, and Zachary, who each pitched an inning of scoreless relief before the game was called early in the sixth. Trevor Barsamian scored three times for the Dodgers and Kevin Arroyo went 3-3 from the EH position. |

The Newton Dodgers prevailed despite some rough fielding to continue their win streak. Mike Cole picked up the win with five innings of strong work, persevering through some defensive miscues, and Shaw Chattin pitched the final two innings for the save. Evan Ordway scored three runs from the leadoff spot for the Dodgers. Carso scored twice for the Snappers with two hits. |

Backed by dominant pitching from Chris Muse-Fisher and timely hitting, the Cambridge Spinners beat the North Shore Snappers 6-0. Muse-Fisher allowed only one hit in five innings of work while striking out ten. Luc Kocher and Pat Clapp came on in relief to keep the Snappers off the board.
Ricky Salvia and Ryan Feeney drove in two runs each to lead the offense. Kocher and Matt Gioia contributed two hits in the winning effort. |

The Grays get their first win of the year behind a stellar pitching performance by Jared Walsh. Walsh threw a CG allowing only 1 run on 3 hits, striking out 5.
Bret Samboy lead the offense with 3 RBIs in his first Grays appearance of the year. Tom Plumitallo scored 2 runs and the Grays defense stood tall behind Walsh.
The Grays are back in action Monday under the lights against the Red Sox. |
