With the season on the line Cameron Fiorentino toed the slab and showed up for his ball club. Pitching in front of a defensive minefield- Cam gave up only 3 hits and K-d 6 and more importantly made pitches every time he needed one to keep the vaunted Malden offense at bay.
He was propped up by the opportunist Expos offense who managed 5 runs in the top of the first on 0 hits, including a 2 run suicide squeeze.
Malden finishes the season with the league's best regular season record. |
