Last game of the 18+ season would be battle to the end with the Cutters outlasting the Tigers in 9 innings. The Tigers were down 6-2 in the 5th before scoring 2 over the next two frames to tie it at 7.
Neil Hovasapian knocked in Alex Andon (4 hits) with the go ahead run in the 9th completing his 3-hit night. Quinn Ryan (3 RBIs) added an insurance Sac fly. The Tigers made it interesting in the bottom of the 9th but fell a run short as Hova closed the door to earn the win in relief. Cov and Hicks also had multihit nights.
Pane and Black had multihit nights for the Tigers.

A's WIN HIGH-SCORING GAME
The runs came in bunches Sunday at Fallon Field.
The Cutters pushed a run across in the first. The A's answered back with 3 in the first and 3 in the second. A McIntyre single scored one. A Tapper rip plated 2. And a Warren Asdornvuttikrai had 3 RBI through two (he would finish with 6 RBI on the day).
The Cutters came back strong. The first six batters in the Cutter half of the 4th reached base and scored.
But the A's answered right away by plating four, taking the lead for good. The inning this with a Warren A. 2-RBI single, and a Jeremy Kronick RBI single.
Kurtz got his 4th win in relief, limiting the Cutters to just one hit over three frames.
Warren Asdornvuttikrai finished 2 for 3 with 6 RBI. McIntyre was 4 for 5 with 2 RBI. And Kronick finished 3 for 4 with a RBI. Four other A's had multi-hit games.

Evan Derochea earned his first MABL win, throwing a complete game and striking out 8 to outduel Jeffrey Betances, who went the distance for the Cutters.
Down 4-2 in the bottom of the 6th, the O's loaded the bases with nobody out. Jose De Los Santos reached on catcher's interference to bring the O's within one. The O's tied the game on a fielders choice by Hector Acevedo, and then scored what proved to be the winning run on a groundout RBI by Myles Comeau.
For the Cutters, Ryan Bere went 3-4, 2SB, 2R. |

Mike Hicks continued his torrid pace getting on base all 4 appearances incl 2 hits. Hicks has reached base at a .777 clip over last 27 plate appearances while batting .647 over that time. |

Miguel Gonzalez, Rob Shea and Jay Thomas had multihit games to pace the Cutters to an 8-2 victory. A 5-run first and 2-run second gave the Cutters all the runs they would need. Gonzalez also had 3 rbis.
Chris Dicecca earned the win scattering 10 hits for the complete game victory.
For the As, Donrama, Rosenzweig, and Wilds had a few hits a piece. |

Cambridge Spinners 10, Cutters 4
The Spinners won their 10th game of the season with a 10-4 victory over the Cutters. Ricky Salvia was "Mr. Everything" Thursday night, scoring two runs and driving in three more. Salvia was also dominant on the mound as well. He went six innings, giving up six hits and one earned run while striking out four. Mark Killoren and Isaac Valvidiezo each drove in two runs.
Alex Andon had three hits and scored a run for the Cutters, while Mike Hicks, Ryan Bere and Matthew Silverman each scored in the losing effort. |

Cutters win a wild one in walkoff fashion. Down 6-2 going into the bottom of the 7th, Matt Murphy led off with a single and Rob Shea walked. Mike Hicks then delivered them home with a 2-run single to make it 6-4. After Ryan Bere walked, Steve Walsh tied it with a 2-run gap double to send the game to extras.
In the bottom of the 8th, Will Sinopi led off with a high fly double. The Cutters then walked off after Ryan Conran's bunt was misplayed.
Chris Dicecca earned the win in relief throwing 4 innings of 1-hit ball.
For the Os, Junior Estrella and Branden Burke had multihit games. Estrella picked up the tough loss going the distance.

James Katsiroubas(2-4, 2B, 4 RBI), Mike Hicks (1-3, 5 RBI, Grand slam) and Ryan Bere (2-2, 3 RBI) paced the Cutters offense as the Cutters win 20-2. Sinopi, Coveney and Hovasapian also have multihit games.
On the mound, rookie Matt Murphy improved to 2-0 allowing 2ER over 5 innings.

In an incredible, thrilling finish, the Spinners rallied for three runs in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 4-3 win. Down 3-1, the Spinners took advantage of Cutter errors. Mark Mezzina walked and later scored on a Ricky Salvia double. Armando De Los Santos attempted to score on the double, but was thrown out at home on a controversial call. Salvia later scored on a second throwing error to tie the game. Killoren later scored on a dropped ball for the walk-off win. The Spinners forced extra innings when Dan Caceres scored on an error to tie the game.
Salvia and Isaac Valvidiezo had two hits each and Nick Marine pitched seven innings, giving up one run while striking out three. Salvia pitching three innings in relief for the win. |

Cutters improve to 4-0 w extra inning 4-3 win over Tigers on a walk off hit by Jeff Coveney. In an extremely well pitched game, the game featured comebacks by both teams including a game tying extra base hit with two outs in the 7th by the Tigers John Viola.
After a few runners got on in the bottom of the 8th, Coveney delivered with a liner to CF that brought home Mike Hicks.
Cutters rookie James Dennison pitched no hit ball through 4 before Chris Dicceca earn the win pitching the final 4 frames. The Tigers Eric Harvey was the hard luck loser pitching all 8 innings. Defense wasn't pretty for either team as there was not an earned run in the game.
The Cutters Steve Walsh had 2 RBIs to improve his league leading total to 7.
