Waltham Braves 7, Metro Red Sox 6
Another unbelievable game as Waltham wins 7-6. Barry Foster goes the distance on 4 days rest for the win. Tight game until the Braves score 5 in the 6th. Lots of offense with 30 hits in the game. Metro led 3-2 in 6th but Braves score 5 to go up 7-3. Metro with 2 outs in 7th have a furious rally to score 3 and have the tying run thrown out at the plate to end the game. Multiple hits by Burns, Ron Pelletier, Foster, O'brien, Grammar, and Vallerand to lead Braves attack. Moise, Garafano had 2 hits each for Metro. |

Braves force a game 3 with a 5-2 win. Red Sox score 2 in the first off Barry Foster, but Foster shuts them down the rest of the way. Braves offense was led by Strassman 2-2 and a bases clearing double by Locke to break a 2-2 tie. Garafano and Bonnano had 2 hits each for Metro and Cappozi pitched very well in the loss |

Metro Red Sox 10, Waltham Braves 9
Unbelievable game! The Braves jumped out to an 8-1 lead when the Sox chipped away. This game had a ton of offense on both sides and some awesome defensive outfield plays that helped the Sox edge out the win behind Russ Ward's 3.2-IP long pitching relief performance to hold down a strong Braves offense. Several Sox had multiple hits and the keys late in the game by Eric Kimble, Dave Garofano, Marco Vitozzi and Vin Bonanno had back to back doubles to tie and win the game in the bottom of the 7th! |

Metro Red Sox 5, N Andover Thunder 40s 0
This was a great game for 9 innings from both sides with the Thunder hosting the Metro-Sox at Holman Stadium. Both teams played very good defense but the Sox prevailed behind timely hitting with Peter Nicolo & MarK Moise leading the offense and strong pitching performances by Kevin Curtin and Steve "the surgeon" Capozzi. Thanks to the Thunder for hosting this game at a classic park ! |

Metro Red Sox 6, Quincy Grays 5
This was a competitive game with lead changes. The Grays jumped out to a 5 - 1 lead after one inning, pitched well and played solid defense. The Sox held the Grays to 2 hits and no runs over 6 innings with Steve Capozzi's crafty pitching performance though. The Sox offense provided the needed run support staging a comeback win on Steve Bessette's 3 RBI double, Billy Carlezon's game tying RBI and Mark Moise's go ahead/winning RBI. |

N Andover Thunder 40s 6, Metro Red Sox 2
For the first time ever, the Thunder defeats the Red Sox in a great game in Lynn. Mike Johnson scatters 9 hits and pitches out of jams in the 4th and 5th for the win, and then Don Lindsey comes in and slams the door, retiring the last 6 Sox in a row for the save. Rick Armand, Mike Quinn and Ted Maravelias each had 2 hits in the effort to lead the Thunder attack. |
