Cambridge Spinners 11, Boston Havoc 10
The Cambridge Spinners beat the Boston Havoc in a controversial 11-10 win. Down 10-6 in the sixth, the Spinners rallied for five runs and Dan Blum drove in the winning run.
Josh DeLara got credited with the win, pitching an inning in relief.
The game came to a sudden end after Cambridge took the lead when the lights at Maplewood went out early. After two days of each team lobbying their cases, whether to end the game or to suspend, the game was officially declared final.
Both teams will meet again August 12 in Somerville. |
