In an epic game 2 Somerville jumps out with 5 runs in the first inning with RBI hits by Iandoli, Stephenson and Strassmann. Somerville then added 3 more in the 2nd with hits by MItrou, Deane and Winant which gave Somerville a 9-1 lead after 3 innings. Lawrence then came storming back with 13 runs in the 4th, 5th and 6th innings that was capped by a two-out two-strike bases clearing triple by Fesh giving Lawrence the lead 14-13 at the end of the 6th. Deane started the top of the 7th with a lead off double and was knocked in by an RBI single by Iandoli tying the game at 14.
