North Shore Giants 22, Bay State Pirates 2
The Pirates take the trip from the South Shore to the North Shore to take on the Giants who look to make it 4 in a row. Giants get started early plating 6 runs in the first. Robert Kimber gets the wheels moving early, driving in the first 3 on his 2nd round-tripper of the year. The Giants' bats were just relentless from there on and would score 19 more over the next 3 innings. Joe Kasper would hit his first homerun of the year in the 3rd, a no doubter to right. John Surette gets the win on a shortened game and goes to 2-1 on the year. Giants claw back to .500 with the win and get the Royals in Canton on Father's Day. |
