Spinners took on a hard hitting Red Sox team Wed night. Cambridge loaded the bases in the 1st with 1 out, but only managed one run on a Knell single. Red Sox would tie the game the game in the 4th on a Lenane double to LF. That would be the only run Mattina would allow the remainder of the game, striking out 13 batters and working out of a tough jam in the 6th. With 2 outs in the 5th the spinners would push across the go ahead run after a De Los Santos triple and DJ Navs single.
