A's BEST JAYS BREIDENSTINE TOSSES SHUTOUT The A's scored six runs in the first to claim their tenth win of the year. Alan Donaruma and Brett O'Keefe led off the game with singles and were driven in by a Tom McIntyre double. Will Wilde and Kyle Breidenstine followed with line-drive singles to score McIntyre. Kronick (2 for 4) then notched his first A's RBI with a single in the 5-6 hole. And Donaruma, who finished with three hits, capped the inning with a 2-RBI single. Breidenstine was in top form on the mound, yielding just four hits and and striking out seven. He lowered his league-leading ERA to a microscopic 0.50 en route to the shutout win.
