South End Astros 4, McKay Club Beacons 2
The Astros snap their 6 game losing streak tonight at home with a 4-2 victory over McKay Club.
The story of the game was starter Brad Presler, who went 6 strong innings giving up only one unearned run. Presler was aided by outfield assists from Baldassari and Reyes, gunning down 2 potential runs at the plate. Astros pitching was also helped out by a botched suicide squeeze and a final out at the plate to end the game. Rodriguez had a very busy night behind the dish.
Offensively Francis Reyes led the way (2-3, 2B, RBI, 2SB, 2 runs scored). Roger Peguero also broke out of his slump with a 2-3 night, knocking in 1 RBI. |
