Jason Lewis starred on the mound for the Royals as he went 6 innings for his first MABL win. Lewis gave up only 2 hits and 1ER while stiking out 9 Cardinal batters. Ariel Martinez came on to pitch a perfect 7th for the save as the Royals got back to .500 on the year. The Royals offense was helped along by 8 walks which set up all 4 of their runs. Felix Villalobos had a 2 out, 2 RBI single on a ball that took a bad hop at SS to tie things up at 3 in the 5th. Greg Kosc delivered a sacrifice fly in the 6th to give the Royals a 4-3 they wouldn't relinquish. Dan Jalbert had both of the Cardinals' hits going 2 for 3 with a K and a run scored.
