Tiger's Bri Houlding and Sens Mike Cook matched up in the the first of 2 of a double dip at a "steamy" Circle on Saturday. Both pitchers labored hard battling the elements along with their control. In the 3rd, the Sens took advantage of some Houlding wildness and a Timmons bases loaded 2 run double to plate 3 runs giving them a 4-1 lead. In the home half, the Tigers cut the deficit in half on Jon Maye's second RBI single of the game. In the 4th, with 2 outs and the bases loaded, smokin' Tiger's catcher Dan Field dropped a fly over second scoring 2 runs to tie the score. With 2 on and the Sens threating in the 5th, Rookie J. Lam came on to retire side. The Tigers took the lead an inning later playing small ball to plate Stevens who doubled, moved to 3rd on a SAC, and scored on a T. Walsh single. The Sens would fight legislation once more, putting guys on 2nd and 3rd w/ no outs, but J. Lam came up huge striking out two and getting a
