In Game 2, starter Chad Griffiths took to the hill giving the Tigers all the inspiration they could ask for. The Tigers jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the 1st hightlighted by a Jake Perkins RBI single scoring Johnny Silk (1-3, R, BB). Pitching would once again take over as Griffiths and Casey went toe to toe. This time the Tigers and Griff would come out on top, taking advange of some fine defensive plays, and a little help from above to snap their 3 game losing streak. The Spinners would threaten in the 4th when Oicaceres singled to center and Silky gunned down Mori trying to score, and then in the 6th, at a moment when he seemed to need it most, Griff started up a huge 1-6-3 DP to end the inning. In the 7th, Jon Mayes (2-3, 2B, RBI, SAC) singled in Massey with an insurance run, and Griff came back to finish the game out getting Dicacere to ground back to him to end the CG shutout.
