Once again, the White Sox bats did the job in a game 2 to complete the sweep as each Sox starter had at least 1 hit. With the win the Sox clinch the Atlantic Conference and head back to MABL Finals to defend their title. Will Bissonette (2 for 2, 3B, 3R, 2RBI) got things going for the Sox with a triple in the 1st. Jason Hoye (2 for 4, 2RBI) then quickly drove him home to put the Sox up 1. After the LaPointe and Limoges doubles tied things up in the bottom of the 1st, the Sox struck right back for 4 runs keyed agains by Biss and Hoye RBIs. Then, the Sox exploded for 6 in the 4th to put things away. The big inning was led off by a Villalobos double and the big hit was a 2 RBI triple of the bat of Dave Martin who picked up the win on the mound. The relief was solid for both teams as Minns and LoPresti combined for 3 shutout innings for the Sox. Taylor for the Mariners yielded only 1ER over the last 3 and a third.
