Jose Medina had a Mother of a game on Sunday in the muck at Cleveland Circle. Medina threw five innings and gave up three runs (one earned) before giving way to Garrett Fisher. Fisher's two innings of relief earned him the win and left the Astros feeling Blue. Medina's heroics were not limited to the mound. Jose walked once and had two hits, including the game winner in the bottom of the seventh. Medina's single up the middle capped a four-run Dodger rally in which Dodger veterans Scott Vachon, Adam Gabriel, Kevin Beliveau, Fisher, Scott Gilefsky, and Tony Soto all reached base before Medina's heroics. The Astros got the benefit of great starting pitching from Bryan Fox who shut the Dodgers down for most of the day, despite the inclement weather.
